Fees and Funding

The duration, frequency and appointment type will be personalised based on your child and family’s needs, goals and current research evidence. This will be discussed and decided collaboratively. Travel costs apply.

The following funding options are accepted:

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Connected Kids provides services for participants who are:

• Plan managed
• Self managed

Currently, we are unable to provide services for NDIA managed participants.

Medicare Rebate

Your child may be eligible for up to 5 partially rebated sessions per calendar year through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.

Your GP will determine your child’s eligibility and provide the relevant paperwork.

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance, you can contact your health fund to determine if your level of cover includes speech pathology services. Connected Kids will provide invoices for all services for you to make a claim through your private health fund.
